Our Unique Model

Ethos Academy is a dynamic hybrid homeschooling program and ministry under the umbrella of Ethos Ministries Inc., a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to partner with the homeschooling community to offer a comprehensive Christian educational experience from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

At Ethos Academy, we provide a flexible, a-la-carte university model that allows parents to tailor their child’s education to fit their individual needs. Our extensive catalog includes both core and elective classes, with options for faith-based and charter-friendly courses. This flexibility ensures that you can choose classes that align with your family's values and educational goals.

For families using charter school funds, we clearly label each class as either "faith based" or "charter friendly" to facilitate easy selection and reimbursement. Our receipts also indicate which classes are eligible for charter reimbursement, helping streamline the process for you.

If you have any questions or need assistance with class selection or charter reimbursement, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to support you on your homeschooling journey!

Classes meet either once or twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) for one or several hours. Our ministry allows parents to drop off their students on campus. Whether you are coming from a tradition school model it being public or private or with a co-op we have something for everyone. Our purpose and intent is to raise up and to empower the next generation of children to fulfill their individual God-given purposes and to become leaders in their community.

Ethos Academy believes in partnering with parents in their homeschooling journey.  We do this by selecting qualified, God-fearing, and passionate educators who have a heart to minister and teach children who are also aligned with our core values.  All of our teachers are independent contractors who will run their own classes as their own businesses following Ethos Academy's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.  These talented independently contracted teachers are vetted and background checked with Ethos Academy.  They have various backgrounds, from being credentialed teachers to professionals who are knowledgeable in their industry.

Ethos Academy is a community partnership that relies heavily on parent involvement.   To successfully operate, we require all families to serve 12 hours each semester on campus in various roles.  These roles include:  aiding in the classroom, monitoring the hallways, supervising lunch, perimeter monitoring, or various other types of designated on campus roles. There are a few roles that can be fulfilled remotely, but require Director approval. Learn more on the "Before You Register" tab under "Join".
