Mission and Vision
Mission
The truth of the Gospel is first priority, fostered by discipleship through community. We seek to provide a Christ-centered education model that partners homeschooling parents with educators who provide in-class instruction and the opportunity for social integrations. By providing this hybrid homeschool model as a ministry, we seek to preserve and protect the mind, body, and soul of all who participate. Our goal is to equip and support parents to feel confident in their homeschooling journey. We also desire to educate students with high academic standards while emboldening them with Biblical values to help define a life set apart from sin and above reproach. We seek to empower students with high morals, integrity, and character, preparing them to stand confidently in faith.
Vision
Ethos Academy is a compassionate community where knowledge is pursued with excellence, where faith is rooted in Christ, and where character is exemplified through service. We are dedicated to creating a caring and nurturing environment, producing life-long learners, and equipping disciples of Christ while enriching homeschooling families’ lives.
Core Values
Ethos Academy subscribe to the following statements of philosophy:
Partner with parents as a resource in the learning process
Partner with parents in teaching Jesus’ love for each student and encouraging values and character that aligns with God’s plan (Jeremiah 29:11 & John 13:34)
Partner with parents by providing opportunities and resources to increase engagement of students in class and at home (Genesis 18:19)
Provide students with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where they can experience success and failure (Isaiah 54:13)
Provide opportunities for each student to build self-worth and confidence, thus equipping them for the world with Christ in mind. (Joshua 1:9)
Provide students with an age-appropriate dynamic and engaging educational experience that includes emergent, differentiated, and advanced activities, that encompasses all areas of a student’s development (Psalm 78:1-4)
